Electrical EIT (Ontario-Based Applicants Only):

We are seeking a talented Electrical EIT to join our expanding team. This entry-level role involves assisting in the creation of detailed electrical plans and schematics that meet technical specifications and client requirements. You will be an integral part of our design process, collaborating with engineers and other professionals to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and preparing engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches.
  • Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates, project schedules, and reports.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with the prescribed standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in fieldwork as required.
  • Be willing to travel across the region, including visits to remote communities, as part of project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Progress toward obtaining a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence, with relevant engineering work experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not strictly necessary.
  • A quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision is highly valued.
  • Possession of a valid G Driver’s License in Ontario is mandatory.
  • Applicants must currently reside in Ontario to be considered for this role.
